Few more new gigs booked! We're actively looking for more though!

Yesterday, 26.4.2010, we did our very first acoustic gig with a quick

one and half-hour rehearsal just before the event itself

Everything went very smoothly, alot better than expected.

Thanks for everyone attending the happening, was an intense

atmosphere and a demanding, tough crowd watching over us!

It's funny, really, to take this long before we realized we haven't actually

Ghostnote hits the studio!! Long weekend coming...

NEW GIGS BOOKED!

Big Boom 2010 semifinals were held last weekend in Jyväskylä, 10.4.2010,

and against all odds we made it through! 4 bands in total continued

to the finals held next day, sunday 11.4.2010, in Jyväskylä's Lutakko.

Long story short, we did not win the whole competition, instead

a better band did. It would have been too weird if we had won it

Congratulations to Ekspansio for taking the jackpot!!

But all in all, the competition was pure awesomeness and the other

bands did great job as well. Awesome weekend!!

Tomorrow 14.4 Ghosts will be playing in Vaasa @ El Gringo,

together with Rain of Acid. So if you happen to be around,

why don't you tag along with us?

Here we go again, not a single moment of rest nor relaxation...

Big Boom 2010 is a band competition held in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Masses of bands have sent their musical samples and amongst all of them,

20 were chosen for a voting which is held only in internet.

Voting has begun today, 17.3.2010 and will end in 28.3.2010.
6 most voted bands + 2 bands chosen by the jury will make appearance

in semifinals held in Jyväskylä, Lyseo High School (10.4.2010).

4 best bands picked by the jury in semifinals will be playing

in the finals (held 11.4.2010) in Jyväskylä's Lutakko (www.jelmu.net)

So we ask your help yet again:

Long time no see, friends and foes!

Let's begin with the Alkupiste-competition; a big thanks for everyone who voted for us!

Unfortunately it was not enough to bring us the desired victory in the semifinals-bracket but..

it'd have been too big of a jackpot if we had won it!

Regardless, we're sure we introduced ourselves for a bunch of new people via

the competition and hopefully delivered some sweet new tones for your eardrums!

(thanks to Alexander Horn, still) but the content beneath the surface

The layout was planned and designed by Alexander Horn (www.alexanderhorn.fi), who has also designed the logo and edited some promo-pictures for us. More material coming soon!

Thanks for everyone who arrived to The Rock Music Pub @ Kokkola,

there was still alot of space left for more people but the atmosphere

was still very very good!

And Bless Us, we were already frowning upon lack of gigs but gladly

we got a new one: Anttirock @ Tervajoki, 6.2.2010 - a competitive

event with various bands, open for all spectators!

We are finally happy to announce that our first release is out!

It took alot longer and required alot more work than we actually expected, sure there's

been some obstacles on the way but it's finally here!

Great atmosphere at Y-Klubi yesterday, big thanks for all attendees! Very much kiitos!

Valo Yössä-Rock was a good event aswell excluding the fact we had some trouble hearing from the monitors. The gig was tad bit too short too.

Nothing new about the first release, it's still under work but a major part's been done. Shouldn't take too long for them to undergo some mastering.

Having an internal fight about the CD-cover arts, too many options, much to decide on, so few artists to actually do the job.

What the hell, just throw them all into one bucket and pick one big mess.

Date confirmed - We are entering the studio in September! It should be safe to assume our very first record will be released late in 2009, so now all we gotta do is train hard for the upcoming session!
